I do love games! It's the primary reason I have a computer

Count me in!

But I've yet to play me first onilne game. I played a couple of Doom 2 matches ten years agao. Since then I never tried multiplayer games again. I guess I should do so sometime again.

I am no longer interested in on-line game playing.

I used to play on-line until I encountered a bunch of "snot nosed kids who thought they were 'God's gift to the World'" who thought nothing of cheating any way they could. They did a fine job of convincing me to quit playing on-line.

Now the only multi-player gaming I do is at LAN parties with friends.

I don't play the shoot-em-up games any more. I found that I got stressed
out playing anything with interactive content.

now you're surprising me. I thought BF was an online only, multi player game. Republic Command dito. Therefore I never even looked at them. Do those games have a single player mode as well?

I can definitely say that Republic Commando has a single player mode, I know because I've played it.

BattleField 2 looks like it also has a single player mode but since I haven't played it I can't say for certain.

I'm just the oposite, when I'm stressed out, frustrated, annoyed, etc., I find there's nothing better than a rousing first person shooter, instead of venting my frustrations out in the real world, I just lay into the enemies in the game...

Thanks. Didn't know that. I'm going to take a closer look at RC then.

Republic Commando is a great game, I enjoyed it a lot.

Probably it's only downside (for me) is that the single player campain is rather short compared to most other games.
