There is no doubt the old Soviet empire was strong, but when it declined, ancient hatreds boiled to the surface while different groups engaged in a power struggle over the remains of the empire. Ghandi succeeded in India because he opposed British rule, and Dwight Eisenhower saw enough war, and the concentration camps, that America has remained apart from those of other cultures, races, America is one of a handful of nations that is responsive to its Ideas that peace can somehow prevail if we all start thinking It isn't that these individuals were that exceptional, but rather At what point do you expect lofty ambitions and goals will sway ------------------ IP: Logged |
